Environmental health and management special collection and database
The John Fornachon Memorial Library maintains a collection of environmental health and management literature specific to grapegrowing and winemaking. This literature, which comprises an integral part of the Library's technical grape and wine literature, was made into a publicly assessable special collection and database in May 2004. This was in order to support Sustaining Success, the Australian wine industry's environment strategy, and builds on the requirement of Strategy 2025 to 'accelerate the adoption of ecologically sustainable practices throughout all aspects of industry operations'. The making of this special collection and database was also endorsed by the Wine Industry National Environment Committee (WINEC).
The most recent additions to the special collection are published in the AWRI's bimonthly publication, Technical Review.
